Will Larter left this review about Dr Watson's

Now called Dr Watson's, with the O magnified by a piece of fictional detective's equipment in the logo on the front window pane. This, and the removal of the hanging sign, seem to be the only changes since the demise of Slaters Pick. The bar counter is in the rear of the knocked through ground floor, with four keg fonts and two hand pumps, serving what some people might describe as pedestrian but I would characterise as reliable and always pleasurable Camerons Strongarm and Black Sheep Best Bitter. We went for the Black Sheep, which was not the best I've ever had but certainly good enough. This pub may be micro in scale but the loud music would disqualify it under the normal criteria. Not a bad one as an interlude between the other two Sherlockian pubs just across the road.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Slaters Pick

We were warned by a few of the drinkers across the road in Sherlocks, that the ale in this place was overpriced dishwater. They were also going to time us, to see how long we would last in here. There was a small bar facing us as we entered with a choice of three handpumps serving a choice of Wainstones ales. We went for the Wainstones Copper, which was as mentioned, overpriced tasteless dishwater. The young punky barmaid was welcoming, but didn't really think we looked cool enough to be in this pub, as the majority of the customers were all tattoos, piercings and most probably enjoyed Game of Thrones.

One small room with bar to the left. Three weak real ales supplemented by a strong Thornbridge keg stout.

Aqualung . left this review about Slaters Pick

This one has been more than well described below. On my visit there was a music soundtrack but no TVs. As noted below there really is an odd collection of bric-a-brac here.
There was a fair crowd in here when I arrived around 22:00 on a Tuesday.
The three beers were Neepsend Blonde, Wild Weather Shepherd's Warning and a Fuggle Bunny beer that I couldn't make out. I went for the Wild Weather beer (£3.90) which struck me as expensive especially considering the Infant Hercules was selling the similar strength Roaring Meg for £3.00 before discount.
This was the final stop on my tour of Middlesborough's cluster of five micropubs and certainly not my favourite. Nevertheless they were all worth a visit.

Another of Baker Street's micro pubs, this particular venture opened in the Spring of 2016 in a similar format to the nearby Twisted Lip, making use of a former terraced residential property to create an interesting variation on the micro pub concept. You enter into a lobby of sorts, with access to the bar through a door on the left. The room is bare boarded with lots of exposed brickwork throughout and sees the servery sited in the front left corner. The bar has a short dark wood counter and bar back and is hemmed in at one end by a red telephone box - one of many stylistic quirks throughout the pub. Seating seemed extremely limited on this visit, perhaps because a significant part of the room was taken up by a duo playing acoustic feel-good tunes to a vaguely interested crowd. Live music seems to be this pub's main deviation from the micro pub template and the walls are lined with various musical instruments as a nod to this policy. Elsewhere, the decor includes the usual enamel advert signs, shelves full of bottles and jugs, a large neon Budweiser sign and so on. Doors to the rear lead out to a decent sized garden where fixed benches and picnic tables provided the seating options that the pub itself couldn't provide. The garden is walled in and has a tiny shelter at one end and an old street lamp. A visit to the toilet was an odd experience, with various random bits of lounge furniture filling the gents room as well as beer barrel urinals and corrugated iron walls.
As with the other Baker Street bars, there were three handpulls in operation, offering Dark Star Hophead, Saltaire Decennium Pale and Milton Helios. The keg range included beers from the likes of Freedom and Arbor among others and I noticed a few interesting bottles available as well. I had a pint of the Saltaire, which was in pretty decent shape and served to me by a very pleasant barmaid.
I quite liked the quirky approach this pub has taken, which could well come across as pretentious, but actually seemed to fit well with the general vibe in and around Baker Street. The limited seating options mean that the pub doesn't really lend itself to a session, unless the weather is good and you decide to take advantage of the garden. I still really enjoyed this visit though and thought it rounded out a good little trio of pubs nicely.

Old Boots left this review about Slaters Pick

Yet another terrace house conversion into a micropub in Baker St. This one has one room in stripped down style, there's a small brick built counter with a top made of coins home to four pulls, two in operation, Elland on one, which was thin and tired, Wickwar Falling Star, in fairly poor order on the other. Dozy staff on this visit too. A few spirits, wines, and bottled beers are also available. Partly exposed brick, part trendy grey, decor from clocks and old enamel ad signs. Old wood working planes and a chopper bike decorate the stairs. The toilets have been interior decorated to within an inch of their life (see pictures), the stairwell is covered in corrorgated iron. There is a small decorated yard at the back. Very much style over substance here, there's even AstroTurf on the front steps.
