Blue Scrumpy left this review about Little Ale House

A friendly micropub with just 4 small tables able to seat no more than 2 each. Bookings are advised for indoor seating. With rain forecast, I'd made a booking to avoid having to sit in an outdoor area that I believe was to the rear.

The landlady is incredibly friendly and welcoming. All customers that came in were also friendly and happy to chat with me and each other.

Ales are served direct from the cask and were all fairly local, either from Northamptonshire or Nottinghamshire - Blue Monkey Infinity, Castle Rock Counting Crows, Potbelly And Now For Something Piggin' Different & Digfield Mad Monk. Ciders were Gwynt y Ddraig Farmhouse Scrumpy, Broadoak Perry, Lilley's Mango Cider & Farmer Jim's Rhubarb Bob.

A delivery from the Potbelly brewer arrived whilst I was there, which provided further entertainment. My favourite place in the centre of Wellingborough.

Gill Smith left this review about Little Ale House

Called into this popular micropub with a good collection of beers while on a coach tour of pubs in Northamptonshire. Beers available were from Tring, Brains, St Austell, Milton and Castle Rock breweries. Selection of ciders and we enjoyed an interesting bottle of beer from Elgoods QE Apple and Vanilla.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Little Ale House

As Just a Quick Pint describes a small and compact micro pub, which was converted from an estate agents office. The landlord was welcoming and chatty, along with the locals, who soon included us in their conversation. The main features to spot in here was the collection of toy mice around the place and I especially liked the one positioned in a hole made in the front of the bar. The three bar stools along the front of the bar where upholstered using denim jeans. Four ales on our visit, Farmers Blonde on handpump on the bar. Three on gravity, Bradfield Farmers Stout, Oakham Inferno and Hopback Winter Lightning. The pub also had a good selection of ciders.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Little Ale House

Tiny micro-pub, almost a nano-pub, in a converted shop near the top end of the High Street. Just a couple of tables and a few stools by the compact counter, but all nicely done. Adnams Lighthouse on handpump, three more real ales on gravity - Potbelly Piggin' Proud (£3.20), Little Red Riding Hood from Castle Rock and Phipps' Cascadia IPA - and a Guinness font. Had a chat with the friendly landlord, and would definitely recommend.
