Steve C left this review about Carmelite Bar

The Carmelite bar is the hotel bar for the budget Carmelite hotel. The serving counter is in the right-hand side where Carling, Staropramen, Brew Dog IPA, Innis & Gunn IPA, Aspall’s Cider, Guinness and a West German beer can be purchased. I didn’t spot any televisions, but there was some background music courtesy of a radio station. An upstairs lounge with tv’s, sofas and a spinning booth is available for hire. This is the first bar I have visited that has a four-poster bed in the bar seating area. I will not be revisiting here for a beer or to spend the night.
