Although we drink mainly cask, we don't mind trying craft, so called in here thinking we would be impressed with the 20 tap choice so chose a dark one, Six Degrees North Chopper, and a lighter one Burnt Mill Quiet Glow, but despite the expense we were not impressed with either beer. It came to the point where we had to leave some. Maybe we were unlucky.

a very hip and trendy craft bar at fhe start of Dale Street with all the features you expect from such a place. we factored into our pub crawl in this area and wished we didn't to be honest. expensive and sludgey beer available in a typical modern bar with no atmosphere.

A trendy two roomed modern bar serving a selection of 20 keg beers and a large selection of bottled beers from the fridge. The layout is urban and industrial in style and the main bar in the far room is constructed from concert/musician flight case hardware, which was very appropriate, as the owner is in the business of events and concert setup. There was a line of 20 chrome finished taps along the rear wall fixed into black stage board, offering a varied range of beers.
The beers are only sold in thirds and were very costly.
We went for Jopen Gersteiber 4.5% from the Netherlands £4.50, Shindigger Session IPA 4.2% from Manchester £4, and Harpoon White UFO from Boston £4.50. We doubled up on Shindigger, so it was very easy to get through 20 quid in next to no time.
The beer was served ice cold, which was ok on a hot day and you could only get to taste the flavour as it warmed. We found the owners friendly and chatty and they are attracting a good customer base.

Avoid at all cost or it will cost you if you don't. A craft only place which doesn't serve anything in pints as you only get beer in bottles or third/one third glasses. Its expensive as f*** and if you like paying £4-8 for two thirds of a pint or £2-4 for a third then you need to be sectioned. Its a small place at the mo that's still being done up. They are obviously aiming for the mentally unstable or rich kids who are thick. You have been warned.
