A characterful whitewashed Brakspear country pub on a drive-through route to Henley. Now predominantly a restaurant the sign outside does still contain the word 'bar', but if it wasn't for clement weather, you'd struggle for space to enjoy the limited range of Brakspear Bitter from two handpumps (£2 a half). The beer garden is generous and there were plenty of marques in the gravelled car park.
