Alan Winfield left this review about The Apiary

The Apiary is a pretty new bar that is situated on Castle Donington's main shopping street.
Once inside there is an oblong shaped room which runs to the rear, the bar is on the front left side, the front area has a tiled floor and the rear area is bare boarded, there is bench seating and small stools for seating and normal tables and chairs to the rear, there is a separate dining room up two steps to the front right.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Blue Monkey Infinity, which was a very nice drink.
It looks quite smart inside, the dining room was packed on my Saturday dinner visit and the main bar room was also quite busy.
The background music was crap.
A very pleasant place to visit, the sort of pub to take the wife of girlfriend to and it opens four hours before the micro pub next door on a Saturday.
