Komakino . left this review about The Cotswold Plough Hotel

A hotel with a standalone bar which caters for non-residents. Its draw is both the food and 'The Cotswold Gin Pantry' - a doorway to the right of the wooden bar full of shelves holding gins of varying hues, flavours, strengths and bottle shapes. There are a couple of ales on - Hook Norton Hooky and Prescott Hill Climb on my visit - a half of the latter coming in at £2 albeit a little watery (it's safe to think ale is probably an afterthought here, although not a GK IPA / Doom Bar one). The bar is a nice Olde Worlde room with some varied seating and there's a lovely garden out front for a nice day. The Clanfield Tavern is a proper pub, but it's a no-brainer to cross the road to at least stick your head in here, even if it's only to gawp at all the bottles of Mother's Ruin.
