Alan Winfield left this review about Toby Carvery Loughborough

When i first did this pub it was called The Forest Gate and was a Bass tied house, with a decent drink of Bass on the bar.
The pub has altered a lot since my first visit and is now a a large single roomed pub.
Once inside the bar faces in a large room that does have different areas, the floor is carpeted, the seating is bench seating and normal tables and chairs, plus some tall tables and chairs, the far left side is up two two steps.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Everards Tiger Bitter, which went down well, the other real ale was Doom Bar.
With this pub now being a Toby Carvery food is a big draw here, but as a drinker i was made just as welcome.
The pub was fairly busy on my Saturday afternoon visit with a mix of drinkers and diners.
