Real Ale Ray left this review about Round Robinn

This micro pub was a former bookmakers and was named the Round Robin as this is a type of betting formula. That's not excusing all the references to our humble garden friend, which are depicted in various shapes and forms around the interior. Along with a lot of horseracing photos, there is a nice one of Red Rum, back in the day.
This is a one room micro with the bar area facing you as you enter, which is made up from a dark stained pine and plywood, with a kitchen worktop counter. All their ales are dispensed on stillage behind the bar. The pub regularly has six ales different ales to choose from and this number increases to eight at weekends, plus eight ciders. We went for the Totally Brewed Kiss My Face and Furnace Brewpub Reprazent. Both beers were in top condition and the barman was welcoming and chatty. Prices in here were steep and I still much prefer my beer from a handpump. Logistically, this was easy to get to from Nottingham as you get the No. 1 bus to Loughborough outside the train station.
