Old Boots left this review about Tallulah's Wine Bar

Saturday afternoon just after noon, lights on doors open no one behind the counter , hung about and a chap appeared with an empty keg, “not open, another hour” he said. I left pausing only to note the noon opening hour painted on the window. Four keg taps, fairly mundane but the well liked Theakston’s Barista stout was among them. Otherwise much as Alan W and ROBCamra’s missives just empty.

ROB Camra left this review about Tallulah's Wine Bar

A typical small, two storey, girly friendly wine bar. Many of the clientele were distinctly orange! I was the only bloke in here apart from a couple of the staff at 6 on a Friday. Downstairs is fairly basic really with a few "considered" prints on the walls. Upstairs is tiled and has a piano and had a silent movie showing. It's all very nicely done, but it's not for me. A half of Amstel was a pretty steep £2.10.

Tallulah's Wine Bar is situated among a row of shops on Saltaire's main shopping street.
Once inside there is a smallish oblong shaped room with the bar on the left side, the floor has black and white tiles, the seating is tall tables and chairs on the right side, plus one settee to the front left, there is more seating upstairs but i did'nt go up to have a look.
There are no real ales on the bar,but the keg beers were very different to what i have ever seen on my pub crawls,i had a drink of Theakston Barrista Stout, which has a stout was very nice, but the coffee taste was evident which slightly put me off it,but it was still a nice keg beer, the other beer was Theakston Peculiar IPA.
Other bottled beers were available, like Chimay, which a few people were drinking.
Quiet background music was playing and the bar was quite busy with a good mix of drinkers on my Saturday afternoon visit, the barman also wore a bow tie.
I quite liked this bar,one i could well stay in for a few drinks if not on a pub crawl.
This is a good addition to Saltaires pub stock.
