Cottonopolis is a long trendy bar and restaurant that was busy with a late twenties crowd during a recent midweek evening visit. The L-shaped bar on the right wall from the entrance supports a large range of premium keg, I didn’t spot any handpumps but that doesn’t mean they weren’t there. Half of the patrons were eating and the other half were drinking. This isn’t somewhere I’ll be visiting again.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Cottonopolis

Modern-style bar / restaurant - all dark furniture (mostly of the annoying tall variety), exposed brickwork, feature lighting and an open kitchen. The beer emphasis is on the Kruscovice tank beer and a variety of craft keg offerings, but a 'house' New World pale ale (£4.20) was available from one of the pair of handpumps.

Converted from an old tailors this is a fairly new opening in the N/4. It specialises in Krusovice Czech lager from a tank above the bar and small Asian themed dishes cooked in an open kitchen at the rear right. Lots of industrial looking pipes and beams in the current trendy style along with a wooden floor. It was busy and quite atmospheric on my Friday evening visit. I decided to have a pint of Krusovice which was a rather steep £4.80. It's one for the late twenties and early thirties crowd, but the food did look and smell very good, so I may bring the other half in at some point.

Modern/trendy bar serving overpriced crafty beers. A large wooden floored place with the bar to your right as you enter. An open kitchen servery is also to your right. Expensive craft crap on the bar only despite there being 2 unused handpumps. For the under 30s only, unless youre having a midlife crisis, and there seemed to be a few poor souls, then knock yourself out.
