Steve C left this review about Volta

All the tables outside Volta were taken during a recent sunny midweek early evening visit, but there was plenty of room inside. This place could pass itself off as a restaurant so I was a bit disappointed at seeing no pulls or fonts on the serving counter, but thankfully the back bar was host to a few premium and crafty taps. I went for the Shindigger West Coast Pale, which I enjoyed at £3 for a half. The service was very friendly, but like many places around these parts it is card only. This is the sort of place I’d take the misses for dinner, and then end up staying all night until we’re bladdered and skint.

A small cafe-like place which serves real ale and keg beers from taps on the wall behind the bar/counter. Up to three real ales on and the rest crafty beers dispensed from 12 taps. Its a single small room with outside seating. Quite expensive.
