Blue Scrumpy left this review about Railway

Located just off the A40 on the main road through the village of Nantgaredig, this village pub is another that no longer stocks real ale, the solitary handpull looking rather forlorn. In fact, of my first 8 pubs of the day in Carmarthenshire, only 3 had stocked any real ale at all. A really disappointing area to drink in.

The pub itself is nicely appointed. I didn't venture too far away from the front bar, where I was the only drinker. There did appear to be a dining area with a couple of customers. But there can't have been too many, as I arrived to find the chef watching the football on the bar's big screen.

The bar itself seemed rather cluttered, but I just about managed to make out the keg beer selection - Guinness, Worthington's, Strongbow, Thatcher's Haze & Gold, Madri & Carling.

Nice enough pub with a large car park to the rear, but can real ale really not be supported?
