Quinno _ left this review about Gravity Station

Newly-opened micropub/offy in a very modern block of shops to the east side of the St David’s shopping centre. Shelves of beer inside along with maroon walls, plate glass frontage and a fairly basic bar. Small, obviously, with the seating centrepiece being what can only be described as copper topped phallic-shaped table. At the bar were four cask ales (from gravity – warning bells ringing), four keg and a wide selection of bottles. Cask choices were two from Pig & Porter and one each from two other breweries I forgot to note. Decided to give the Pig & Porter ones a go and both were fairly flat and lifeless which was a disappointment but it’s gravity and I’ve rarely got a good one from that style of dispense outside of beer festivals. Cut my losses and went to the craft keg section for some Kernel Export Stout which was superb (£2.75 a half, which at 7% isn’t so bad). Friendly punters inside, with spare seats being proffered to fit us all round the metallic phallus. Worth noting that unlike the strict Micropub Association definition there’s piped and live music here, so those looking for a pureblood may not be happy but it doesn’t bother me. I thought this was a decent enough place, a shame about the ale though – cost it an 8. Worth checking out for a friendly beer.
