The Greenbank Hotel if Falmouth's premier hotel that is in a great location next to the River Fal estuary and views towards Flushing.
Once inside it all looks very posh, there is a square shaped room which is part carpeted and bare boarded, the bar faces inwards.
There is bench seating and posh tables and chairs, plus two settees, there is a separate restaurant to the left with all tables set for diners.
There were two real ales on the bar,we had a drink of St Austell Tribute, which went down well and came in a lot cheaper than the drinks in the Star & Garter, which was surprising, the other real ale was Long Rock The Deep.
Background music was playing.
The pub has its own jetty and a large name of the pub on the wall, which says Greenbank Hotel, this can be seen from a good distance.
A bit too posh for our liking.
No doubt when some of the Pubs Galore top dogs come here, they will see that i was right about the pubs name, which is still wrong on this site.

The Greenbank Hotel, one of Falmouth re most venerable hotels, has opened a pub in former office space quayside on its lowest level.
Great location, within seeming spitting distance of Flushing on the opposite side of the river.
As yet, however, relatively anodyne: usual pseudo-maritime dark wood decor. Thatcher's on draught steepish at £4.10. Local ales and a bespoke house ale. Food should be good given the hotel above's reputation. But a little bland as yet.
