peter ashworth left this review about Brady's Wine Bar

Housed in the former Conservative Club building Brady's Wine bar is a large upmarket bar that has recently undergone a £250,000 refit to the interior. The walls are mainly red brick with the chairs and tables in dark wood and includes a long 12 seater table which leads up to the central fireplace.Beyond the fireplace up a few steps is a rather plush lounge type area complete with a collection of leather settees. There is a large wooded floor area in front of the bar area and quite a few random unusual light fittings, but the feature that impressed me most was the original beams that have been exposed for the first time in years.
The bar had plenty of electric pumps plus 4 casks which were Pheasant Plucker and Hen Harrier from The Bowland Brewery,Old Slapper from The Bank Top Brewery and Atlantic from Sharp's brewery.
There is an extensive food menu plus a large blackboard on the left hand wall showing the specials.Opening times Mon-Wed 9am-11pm Thur 9am- 11-30pm Fri-Sat 9am-1-00am Sun 9am- 11pm
