Very nice 18th century Cotswold stone village pub comprising a warren of small rooms with a modern restaurant at the back. Outdoor seating to the front and rear. Claims to be a coaching inn though I doubt many coaches passed this way, though those who like such things may wish to learn about the Welsh Road which passes nearby. A friendly welcome on a hot Bank Holiday afteroon, where to our surpise a mini beer festival complete with live band was taking place in the back garden. Unfortunetly driving meant we could't take part beyond a very pleasant pint of Great Oakley Wagtail. The handpumps in the bar seem to dispense more routine refreshments such as GKIPA.

It's in the GBG, and well worth a visit, but watch the time as it's only open evenings during the week.

Nice village pub that is seemingly unchanged for years.

All stone floors and little nooks and crannies inside.

Three real ales on - including a never seen before effort from the Great Oakley Brewery.

Food and service were both excellent and good value.

A nice country Inn.
