Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Four Eagles

New-build Hungry Horse chain pub / restaurant on a trading estate to the west of the town centre, but one of few such places doing meals within walking distance of the centre. All the usual anonymous corporate charm and elegance in the various seating / areas, but there is a patio garden area on two sides. Three Greene King real ales available from a total of nine handpumps divided between two banks on different parts of the extended counter: IPA, Abbot and the seasonal Bonkers Conkers (£3.90).

Four Eagles is a large Hungry Horse pub located on the edge of an industrial estate. Picnic tables run across the front of the pub to more seating and a children’s play area down the left. To the right and around the rear is a large car park, which makes sense as this pub is food led. The bar along the rear wall supports four hand pumps that were drawing Greene King IPA, Yardbird, Abbot and Strawberry Cider. There is also a standard and premium keg range.
The larger left hand side of the pub is for diners and there is seating along the front windows that are faced by the bar. To the right rear is the Horseshoe Bar that is for over 18s only. There are another four hand pumps in here but no new cask options. This bar has a large projector that was airing football, as were a couple of televisions. The last couple of Hungry Horse pubs I’ve been in have had a separate over 18s bar area which I have found good to get away from the restaurant feel that these big food pubs obviously generate. That said, this pub is too far out of town for me to consider a revisit, even though the staff were all very friendly.
