Colin Walker left this review about The Last Shift Inn

The Last Shift Inn sits in the small insignificant village of Braehead as it appears on the map. But the drive from North or South gives great views especially the more extensive panorama view to the South. The Inn appears to be a row of cottages and is easily missed if it wasn’t for the big T for Tennent’s on the outside. The bar is situated on the left and appears to be the original pub before the long restaurant side was added which supply meals on a Friday to Sunday. The bar being separate from the restaurant has quite a cosy feel with its light wood panelling. The bar has no real ale but has the already mentioned “Tennent’s” beers and lagers. The place is well worth visiting for the quiet bar and the very extensive food menu. There is parking available at the rear.
