Quinno _ left this review about Bull Inn

Faintly reminiscent of a Berni Inn, this is a roadside pub/eatery specializing in French food that seemingly caters for the 50-90 year old demographic and was pretty busy when we went in on Saturday afternoon. A dated but nonetheless comfy interior from the 1970’s. Of note were the bull-motif carpet, collection of foreign banknotes on the bar gantry, general ornamental chintz on the windowsills and a stained glass window upper on the ceiling. The blue suited maitre de seemed keen for us to be seated well-away from the diners so we decided to head out back and soak up some sunshine. Two ales on; GK IPA and Brakspear Bitter, the latter of which was in good shape. If you want to party like it’s 1982, this is the spot for you (but bring your own Whitbread Trophy).
