Komakino . left this review about Old Nags Head

A GK boozer at the top of the High Street accessed via a small flight of right-angled steps opposite Thame's former cattle market (and in the evening, opposite its award-winning Atalay kebab van). This is roughly L-shaped internally, with the small bar located immediately behind the entrance against the right-hand wall. A bare-boarded floor occupies a large square in front of the bar, above which a plethora of football scarves and shirts are affixed to the ceiling, with a cosier, carpeted area located further to the left of the room where the left-hand wall is wood-panelled and contains some superb old photos of Thame's High Street, along with various sporting trophies, hemmed in by vinyl bench seating and standard dark tables and chairs. A smaller, corridor-type room with more wood-panelling to the left of the bar contains a couple of more tables and chairs and also gives access to a sunken pool room and a beer garden. The ale selection is limited to GK IPA over two pumps, and expect to have to dodge a smoker or two when entering as they have a habit of loitering on the steps out front.
