The Tetley, Crown Point, Leeds

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Tetley Bar & Kitchen

Modern arts centre bar housed in the art deco former Tetley's brewery headquarters building. The café-style room has some artefacts of historic interest on display in several cabinets, and the table tops were apparently made from timber reclaimed from the site's demolition. Full of noisy (but no doubt very creative) young people and loud music when I visited. Of course, it was Tetley's Cask (£3.30) available from one of two hand pumps, but whether this is a fitting tribute to the past, or an offensive piece of marketing from Northampton destined to send old Joshua spinning yet faster in his grave, is left to the visitor to decide...
