One room comprising mainly a can and bottle shop. Also a single hand pump dispensing a 5.6% ABV IPA which was rather good

We got a pint and a half of Wild Child Brewery Columbus 5.2% at £3.45, which was superb. Their other two beers on handpump were a Porter and a Stout. There was a huge range of canned and bottled beers from near and far, but the main emphasis was for local breweries. They had all the Vocation, Cloud and Beavertown range and prices were acceptable. For example, Beavertown Neck Oil was £2.40 a can and the Beavertown Lupoloid £3.20.

Beer Huis is a bottled beer shop that is in the same precinct as the Maypole.
Once inside there is a square shaped room which has bottled beers all around it on shelfs, there must be hundreds of different bottles.
There is a small counter in the rear right corner, the front is for serving customers, the left side of the counter has two bar stools and a false hand pump with two clips on it.
I had a drink of Saltair South Island Pale which was a really nice drink, this was poured from under the counter, this was only £2.00 a pint my half cost £1.00,the other pump had a cider on.
I had a good chat with the friendly woman who was serving, she said the place had recently gained an on licence and was open until 8 in the evening, ime not sure if this is all week or just weekends.
