E TA left this review about Redwood Farm

A large, modern Greene King pub and restaurant whose main customer base appears to be families and people wanting low-quality fast food. It is sited on a commercial estate by a busy main road, so it’s not charming at all and having the word ‘farm’ in the name confers no rural quality whatsoever. Food is the usual mass produced muck plus a carvery every day of the week – but who wants Sunday lunch on a Wednesday afternoon? Consequently the carvery food was overcooked, uninspiring and looked like the very worst of school dinners. The single cavernous bar was run by functional foreign staff who had little interest in customer service or quality, making the whole thing seem rather Orwellian. Signs for baby changing areas were more prominent than signs for the toilets, and children’s yelling was more obtrusive than adults’ conversation. Ales on were GK IPA, Abbott and Doombar. The latter was over-gassed, over-chilled and tasted like sugar-coated nylon. It’s the sort of place to bring relatives that you don’t like.

March 9th on advertising banner put up outside for opening date.

Now March from Facebook page.

Now opening January 2015 as per photo.

New Greene King pub next to Premier Inn currently in construction stage. Name to be confirmed but similar concept to newly opened Winter Stream Farm I expect considering initial name is The Farmhouse Inn.

Due to open Winter 2014.
