A Miller & Carter steakhouse in amongst all the other big hitters such as Zizzi, Pizza Express and Nandos. Four keg products, including Madri and Pravha, were available on draught from the serving counter that runs up the right. This counter faces three small tables that can be used by people who just come in to have a beer, according to the friendliest waitress I think I’ve ever met. The rest of the floorspace is full of tables set for dining. I was in for dinner which was decent quality, but pricey at around £120 for three lower end meals and six pints. I’m still of the mind that M&C is a restaurant chain, but the waitresses at these venues keep confirming that people do go in just to drink… Who are these people? Rating would be higher if this site was called Eateries Galore.
