Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The High Field

Modern restaurant and bar, with seating areas around the 'U'-shaped gantried bar counter, with the dining areas to one side and at the back. A further 'private dining' room can be found upstairs, and there are also some tables out on the front patio terrace. Next door, formerly belonging to an architect, and with some interesting glazing best viewed at night, The Studio acts as a function room. On the other side, an older detached building called the Town House operates as a hotel. Two real ales available from the four handpumps - Purity Bunny Hop (£4.40) and Harry's Heifer from Church Farm - with reversed clips for Greene King IPA and Purity Pure Gold on the other pair.

The High Field is a very modern pub aimed at the more up-market clientele. It is very well appointed and there are a few real ales on offer. There were 2 Purity ales on offer during my visit. They were fine but expensive at £3.75 a pint.
