Rebranded in May 2016 as "Travellers Rest American Steakhouse & Grill" by owner Steve. In August 2016, due to his own ill health and loss of a revamp grant on the old building, he decided he had to close the pub down. He hopes the Steakhouse can continue in the future if a new owner can be found.

this pub has just recently re-opened, Nice spacious interior & restaurant.Hobgoblin amoung the beers on tap. I paid a morning visit en-route to Ely. too early to sample the ale but had a nice cup of coffee & use of the facilities, very clean. The menu seemed varied with specialist meals on certain days It was haddock & chips when I called in.
