E TA left this review about Obscura Cafe
An interesting isolated circular building in the centre of The Square, plenty of seats outside and large glass windows to watch the busy world outside while taking a break from the bustle. It has the feel of a 1960s seaside café, but without the sea view, and its shape makes it feel a bit like a goldfish bowl, only glummer. It’s popular with shoppers and the local security staff taking their breaks. It’s quite a good place to stop for a coffee, and its position makes it a prominent place to meet up, but there is no real ale (only fizzy megakeg) so it’s not somewhere I’d spend an evening.

Positioned right in the centre of the square the Obscura Café had no real ale but quite a few beer and lager pumps.
