Alastair Barter left this review about Masons Arms Hotel

Took photos yesterday and noticed that the Mason Arms Hotel is closed and up for sale by McEwan Fraser Legal, solicitors & estate agents. All doors are closed.

David Ross left this review about Masons Arms Hotel

Despite the name, this is not at all like a hotel bar. It’s more a village pub, one of only two in Lesmahagow. It consists of a long, narrow bar room with authentic looking exposed stone along the street facing wall. There is a lounge area, containing a large TV screen, at one end and a pool table at the other. The hotel accommodation is, presumably, upstairs, although it is not well advertised. Tennent’s lager is on sale at £2.90 a pint and Budweiser, Guinness, Caledonia Best and Strongbow cider are also on draught. The Masons is slightly roomier than Lesmahagow’s other pub (The Black Bull), but, otherwise, there’s not much to choose between them.
