Alastair Barter left this review about The Duchess Of Argyle

The Duchess of Argyle has changed its name - it’s now known as The Dirty Duchess. Had a pint of Symonds cider and crisps totalling £5. So well worth it I had a second.

Steve C left this review about The Duchess Of Argyle

With the traditional moniker of ‘Duchess of Argyle’ one can be forgiven for not knowing that this is a pub cum Mexican restaurant. The small bar on the left-hand wall supports a craft keg selection, Guinness and Symonds cider. To the right of the bar is a hatch to the kitchen that prepares the South American food. I didn’t see a full menu, but I did note ‘Taco Tuesday’ when these tasty treats are available for £2 a pop. This isn’t the biggest of pubs and the furniture is crammed in so I can imagine it being very cosy during peak hours.
I found the service from the barman to be spot on and I would gladly visit again.
