Quinno _ left this review about The Coffee Cellar

Located on the pretty quayside in a row of old cellars where warehouses were built to hold goods that were being traded. This is primarily a coffee shop but sells a number of bottled ales (Old Mill, Skinners, GK Abbot) and a cider (Ashridge) which can be consumed on the premises as a single order. As the title suggests, the main source of drinks here are exotic coffees, teas, sarnies and cakes. The interior is a strange exotic mish-mash of retro stylings, furnishings and drapes; quite a lot of effort has gone into making it inviting (a quick look at some of the adjoining outlets will give you an idea). There is some basic café style seating outside which affords a nice view. An old 60’s style portable record player was on the go, blaring out some old Elvis standards. Seems odd but it worked. Staff are pretty young and on the hipster side. Service was rather bumbling - verging on the chaotic - but we got there in the end. If you’re headed to the quayside, this is a good little place to treat a non-drinking partner to something nice whilst you can still get stuck into the beer if they don’t fancy the Waterside.
