Bucking Fastard left this review about Falcon
A 17th century coaching inn situated on the A6 but with a substantial beer garden extending down to the banks of the unnavigable Great Ouse, the exterior and interior are both worthy of inspection. The low ceiling creates atmosphere and there is a nesting of lots of different rooms ,many with wood panelling. The L shaped restaurant has french windows giving good views of the river and lakes beyond.Food is a major draw ,but the menu is quite standard pub grub with a lot of burger options and main prices generally above £10.My pie was adequate but my fellow diners' fish and chips looked and smelt good.
Charles Wells own the pub ,so no surprise that the ale line up was a bit dull with Eagle IPA,Bombardier and Courage Directors as regulars and the guest on my trip being Batemans Hooker.
Worth a look around, but not special enough to warrant going out of your way .
