This one is easy to miss from the outside, and you could easily pass it by without realising it is a bar. Can't see anything on their web site about opening hours but it was closed on a Tuesday just after midday but was open when I went past again at 4pm. Two cask and six keg on offer (one keg was off). I had a Swoon by Revolutions on cask, a chocolate stout which was very pleasant. The other cask option was a pale by Bad Co, which was extremely tempting, but time was passing me by so I moved on.

I wasn't really sure what to expect from the place and nearly gave it a miss but trying new places is the name of the game so I went for it. Very glad I did - the beer I had was great. I was the only customer in at the time of my visit but I expect it gets busy of an evening.

Al's Dime Bar is just down from the Beerhouse.
Once inside this is a small single roomed bar,the room is oblong shaped and runs to the rear, the bar is at the far end of the room, the floor is wood, the seating normal tables and chairs, there were lots of posters covering the walls.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Roosters Buckeye which went down well, the other beer was Abbeydale Moonshine.
The background music was decent.
I hit the bar just after it opened so it was not too full, but it was filling up quick with Bradfords bright young people.
I quite liked this place.

A long narrow student music n’ sports bar with an Americana theme. Showing the American football on my visit and it made for a tight, uncomfortable squeeze. Two ales on, Fernandes Dragons Breath and another I forgot to note - both were in good nick. Also a decent selection of draught and bottled garb. Worth having a nose if you’re in Bradford but don’t necessarily prioritize it. 6.5

A trendy and hip sort of bar, where you will definitely come across a few hipsters here and there. The music was quite loud for an early Tuesday eve visit, but nevertheless the music choice was ok. Two ales on handpump, so we went for the Wentworth Plotters Punch. I noticed they had a great selection of continental lagers on draft and bottled.

A small, narrow bar, probably converted from retail premises in Bradford's up and coming beer quarter. A really good atmosphere on my Friday eveing visit. Some very good music playing in the background as well. Very friendly punters and staff alike made me stay for 2 drinks after quite a long crawl around the town. Only 2 beers available on my visit, both from Revolutions and both in very good nick. I really liked it in here and will definitely call in again.

Old Boots left this review about Al's Dime Bar

A long thin shop conversion up a few doors from the Sparrow, maybe its less refined brother. The counter is at the back with three pumps of very local brews plus a good few bottles in the fridge. Student decor of band posters, eclectic photos and photos of musicians. The beer is of decent quality and the place is slightly reminiscent of North Bar in Leeds. There is a big screen and of course constant music, the Gents is labelled Doods and the Ladies are Doodettes.
