Alastair Barter left this review about The Hug and Pint

The Hug & Pint, after taking a photo of it yesterday, is apparently a vegan restaurant, according to Google when I checked that out. So not strictly a pub.

David Ross left this review about The Roxy 171 Bar/Kitchen/Venue

The name alone should have been enough to deter me. Most recently, this was known by the imaginative name of “The Liquid Ship.” In my long distant University days, it was “The Hub Bar.” Now it serves as just another demonstration of how Glasgow’s trendy West End area has encroached into the centre. It offers a range of exotic beers, at exotic prices, including Heville Premium Belgian lager, Estrella Damm, Staropramen, Bitter and Twisted and Franzishofen. More conventional drinks, such as Caledonia Best and, fortunately, Guinness, are also on sale The toilets and Function Suite are downstairs, but, if you’re planning a function, you’d better make it’s a small one, as the “Suite” is only marginally larger than the toilet.
