Old Boots left this review about Beer Shack

Tiny bottle shop with a counter down the side of the small square room. The back wall is shelves of bottles and cans for sale, there’s a few tables and bench seating down the side of the room opposite the counter. Five pulls of relatively local beers all nicely kept if not spectacularly, but it’s run by nice people.

Aqualung . left this review about Beer Shack

This one is a proper micropub with no TVs or music just concentrating on real ale and ciders.
It's a square room with the bar on the left and I counted five low tables & chairs and one high table. There were a few in on my Wednesday afternoon visit.
Beers available from the five hand pumps were Langton Angler & Redwood, Brentwood Summer Virgin, Milestone Summer Lovin' and Silhill Hop Star. I went for the Hop Star (£3.20) which was OK but quite hazy. I also noticed the Brentwood beer wasn't clear. This may be down to the beer wholesaler rather than the pub but I'm still knocking it down a point.

Real Ale Ray left this review about Beer Shack

An excellent little Micro, where the locals and owner makes you welcome. Five pumps with four in operation on our Friday afternoon visit. There was also an extensive range of bottled and canned beer from near and far in fridges near the bar, with a detailed menu of all these beers on the tables. We went for the Milk Street Brewery Same Again and the Double Top Brewery Citra Tip from Worksop. Just as we were leaving, Grey Trees Brewery Chinookan VPA came onto the fifth pump, so we couldn't miss that out, still made it in time for the bus. The bus stop to Kimberley is only a couple of hundred yards around the corner, if you're on a crawl. Prices were also very reasonable in here.

Alan Winfield left this review about Beer Shack

The Beer Shack is Hucknall's latest pub to open, this one is a micro pub.
Once inside there is a small square shaped room, the serving bar runs down the left side, the seating was red leather chairs on the right side and normal tables and chairs in the middle of the room, there was one tall table and stools near the entrance.
There is already a build up of pump clips on the walls.
There were five real ales on the bar all served from handpumps,i had a drink of Nelson Trafalgar which was a very nice drink, the other beers were Sleaford Tropicano/Sceaming Eagle Stout,Navigation Columbus and a beer from Harthill, there were six real ciders in boxes on the bar.
All beers were very reasonbly priced ranging from £2.50 up to £3.00 for stronger beers and ciders.
I quite like this micro pub,in fact the best one visited yet.
Please check their web site for opening times, they dont open Mondays and close afternoons.
