I must admit that I wasn’t expecting to find myself in a bowling alley during a recent short crawl around the area. A bar counter up the right supports premium keg and Neck Oil whilst facing some seating to the left. A line of high tables at the rear lead to five tenpin bowling lanes. I thought the ultraviolet space themed ceiling was very cool, but the low tinny background music wasn’t. I’d have imagined a place like this would be full of students but the crowd was generally closer to mid-thirties. It’s not expensive, half an Amstel was £2.60. I don’t really like tenpin bowling so I’ll not be returning.

This is a bowling alley with a bar attached. It's OK if you want a pint of lager whilst you're having a game of ten pin bowling, but it's not a pub really.
