I turned up at 10 to three last Friday but the place was closed. I had busted a gut to get here before closing time, so stopped in the car park for a drink of water from the bottle on my bike. Two minutes later a delivery lorry turned up and started unloading barrels and crates, which they took round the back of the pub, so there was definitely someone there, but they apparently chose not to stick to their advertised hours. This is a pity, as they might have got a decent review. Now they'll have to put up with this instead.

Re-opened by the local community after a long closure , serving locally sourced fresh food and local real ales .
Proper rural pub in the middle of Corvedale halfway between Ludlow and Bridgnorth on the back roads and difficult to find .
