Quinno _ left this review about The Inn At The Sticks

Large rustic main bar mainly set for dining with further dedicated dining areas off left. Three pumps with nothing on and zero of interest in the fridge (how hard can it be to get something in?). A single Tinworks brewery on keg of passing interest. Booked to eat here and the food was really good although the front of house was very slipshod. As a pub it's not up to much, but I suppose the local topers have next door for that. There’s also accommodation – I stayed here and it was pretty disastrous.

Soup Dragon left this review about Sticks Hotel

This is a multi-building hotel for adults with learning difficulties, which also has an attached pub with beer garden (that includes a play area). The place seems to have grown organically. In the late Victorian period it was the Union Hall PH, later becoming a hotel - a name it kept until at least the 1970s. The building is listed, and looks in part to be in Georgian style; three storeys with a rusticated entrance and gabled dormers. It is in cream with red paintwork. The interior of the pub (the smaller of the two buildings) is in cream and light blue wood. This matches much of the nautical ephemera that is dotted about. There is a white ceiling, wood floor and a stone fireplace with a burner fire. Pool and darts can be played. A few stools and a table and chairs are matched by the sofas, sadly - however, i could watch a bit of the cricket on TV. There was no music. The service was friendly and a few locals were in. Beer; usual stuff with Birra Moretti and Welsh Stout on keg, with Abbot and a decent enough Wadsworth 6X on handpull. A pleasant enough stop-off.
