Bollington Brewery tap serving five Bollington beers, along with two guests ales and one cider, all on handpump. The décor in here was modern with lots of dark and light greys. The bar situated along the left hand side had a grey painted timber front, with a medium stained oak counter. The staff in here were welcoming and knowledgeable about their beers. We took a table at the far end of the pub which acted as a snug with timber panelled walls and a timber screen separating the bar area. The Bollington beer in here was excellent, so would return.

A good pub. Very close to the Flute And Firkin owned by Poynton Brewery this place is run by Bollington Brewery. Much bigger than it looks like its going to be from the outside this place stretches back beyond the long bar as you enter. There is, apparently, an upstairs part but I never explored there. 5 working handpulls with Bollington beers on 4 during my visit. I slightly preferred the nearby Flute but that doesn't mean this place is worse. Wooden floored and friendly. Like the Flute its worth popping in if you're in the area.

I was in as part of wedding party private function on a Monday afternoon, early August

I counted 6 hand pulls, could be more, plus two draught ciders

It is one long bar, slate flagged and bare wooden floor

The toilets are upstairs, so not disabled friendly at all

Would suit CAMRA box tickers

Small outside area at the back for fag smokers

Staff were polite & quick & friendly

No sport TV, juke box, darts etc were spotted, I think this pub is just for beer / cider

I doubt I will ever revisit, because as stated, I was only there as part of a wedding party

After undergoing a 3 month refurbishment the Cask Tavern re-opened in October 2013 by The Bollington Brewing Co and now brings the brewery's tally to 3 (The others being The Park Tavern Macclesfield and The Vale Inn Bollington)
Called in mid afternoon on a Saturday and was quite surprised to find I was the only customer. There was 8 casks on including ciders mainly Bollingtons's with the stout I sampled top notch.Could be wrong here but I can imagine this place lacking a little atmosphere as the set up seemed to have more of a wine bar feel to it.

Recently aquired by Bollington Brewery and reverting back from the "Red Rock" to it's original name, the "Cask Tavern".
