According to their slogan "It's all about the bread" in here. And there is in fact a good selection of breads to have with freshly made sandwiches from the in-house deli and various charcuterie boards. But it's rather more than that. There is also an extensive wine list which include a very good Black Shiraz and two handpumps on the bar alongside quite a few lager fonts etc. The handpumps were dispensing Wells Eagle Bitter and the rather better Portobello Pale which was in very good nick. It's all one room with some high tables and some comfy chairs/sofas on the right. The rest of the area is taken up with dining tables. There are also quite a few bar stools round the bar for those who prefer a liquid lunch/dinner. I liked this place and will call back next time I'm on my way to their sister bar Pie & Ale just around the corner.
