Steve C left this review about Bar 1620

Bellinis is now called Bar 1620, which is named after the year the Mayflower and Speedwell left the UK before crossing the Atlantic. Apparently, before leaving, both ships were moored on the river Dart whilst repairs were made to the Speedwell. The building was previously Dartmouth’s sorting office. There is a bar on the right wall with four keg fonts that were pouring Brooklyn Lager, Shed Head IPA, Carlsberg Export and Somersby Cider. The bar faces dimly lit open plan seating and during my recent Thursday evening visit there was a jazz group playing on the stage in the left rear corner. This is a live music venue. Not my cup of tea so I’ll not be returning, but it was busy so they must be appealing to their target demographic.
