Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Barbers Arms

Archetypical micro-pub, housed in a small shop adjacent to a barbers. Compact, square room with just two rectangular tables and four stools around the tiny counter (but enough standing space to host live music from time to time). Eclectic mix of decor; mostly pump clips, but also several deer trophies and other odd bits of memorabilia. Also has a couple of barrel seats out front. Decent blues music in the background. All beers dispensed by gravity, with three on during this visit: Dark Star Partridge (£3.50), Skinners River Cottage and Rudgate Jorvik Blonde.
