Small bar area but warmly decorated.Didnt notice a handpump but American kegs were on so I had Rogue-Brutal ipa 2/3 rds for £4.70.Remember this beer as being more hoppy so the Brutal probably refers to the price.Considering its American craft beer theme it was an older crowd who were drinking in here on my Sunday night visit.Projector throwing a super heroes cartoon onto the exposed brick wall was a weird touch.

This is an American themed bar and restaurant, as indicated by the large Stars & Stripes blowing in the breeze above the pub sign. The concept works quite well, as long as you like American style bars! The small bar on the right of the pub has the servery on the right, and is furnished with a handful of tall tables and tall stools. At the back and to the left is a small pool room with just a single table, which in turn leads into a lounge (sofas here of course) with a small restaurant at the back. There is a bit of outside seating at the front.

Being American themed, the main focus is on bottled craft beers, for which an extensive beer menu is available. I had a 12 Fl Oz (355 Ml) bottle) of Red Hook Long Hammer IPA, served in branded glass, and is a very hoppy stonking 6.2% ABV – but not cheap at £5.20. They did have one real ale on – Timothy Taylor Golden Best – plus numerous beers on tap, such as Paulaner, Samuel Adams Steam Beer, Innis & Gun Original (handcrafted Scottish beer), Sunny Beach Brewery Beach Blond and Brooklyn Brewery Lager. I also spotted a couple of those big plastic tubes with a tap on the bottom, which gets filled up with beer and taken to your table so that drinkers have their own personal beer font for the evening. I've only ever seen them before in Las Vegas - my guess is that they're here for show, but I may be wrong.

If you like American bars you will like this place. It certainly stocks an impressive range of bottled craft beers.

A small 'Cocktail Bar' & Restaurant. Previously was "The Naked Turtle", until 2012. An exclusive bar, probably the smallest you will ever see! (10 people would be a tight fit!) But friendly staff, and decent food in restaurant beside. Supposedly based on New York style 'loft' bar. Intriguing..! I only visit once a year!
