Open. As the name suggests this is an old bank building. A very traditional and pleasant interior with lots of dark wood. There is a raised area opposite the bar. There are 4 handpumps on the bar but only one working on this visit dispensing Big Bog Morast. A reversed Hinky Punk clip adorned another pump. Its a good pub.

CLOSED pub sited on a busy junction on Aigburth Road that was once a Barclays Bank,followed by Sullivans bar then Kellys Wine Bar before becoming a real ale pub.
