Steve C left this review about Royal Oak

The Front public bar of the Royal Oak has a television for showing Sky Sports and a dartboard. During a recent Friday afternoon visit there were some friendly locals sitting at the L-shaped bar that supports a standard keg range alongside a single hand pump that was drawing Fullers London Pride. In the rear of the pub is a much larger bar with seating throughout. The television in here was airing Heart FM for some background music. The serving counter supports three hand pumps, one of which was unused leaving Greene King IPA and Sharps Doom Bar as additional cask ale options. I had a cling filmed ham roll of the back bar, but hot traditional pub food is available, £10.95 for the burger.
Live music is held here on Saturdays and there is a weekly Sunday evening quiz from 20:30. Karaoke was also advertised for Thursdays, although not all. Out the back is a large grass covered beer garden with a raised decked area in the far-left corner. This is an ok pub that I would use if I lived locally.
