The Smith and Western chain specialise in cowboy themed restaurants. I popped in on Saturday evening to find it very busy with young families who were enjoying all types of flame grilled meats. The lively staff all looked the part in their Wild West uniforms. I spotted a bar where Budweiser and Coors were both available on draught. I must admit that I felt a little out of place being the only punter supping a half at the bar. I declined the chance to sit hunched over one of the two saddle bar stools. As I left a cow bell was ringing as a birthday cake arrived on the scene.
My kids would love it in here so I plan to return with them, but as a place to pop into just for a beer? Nope, only the odd and/or unsuspecting would go here just for a drink. My rating reflects that this is a pub review site.
