This pub has been closed for a long time, but as a point of interest a plaque on this building says -
This house was anciently The Rose and Crown Inn, and here in 1483 Richard Duke of Gloucester (Richard III) captured the uncrowned boy king Edward V, who was later murdered in The Tower of London.
