A fairly average and large Hungry Horse located on the edge of an industrial estate next to sundry fast-food drive-ins. The front part is the eating side but is pleasant enough to sit and drink in; at the back is the livelier public bar with sports TVs, pool and darts. Two sets of pumps variously offered GK IPA, Abbot, Yardbird and the seasonal Bonkers Conkers, however they were ALL off, so it loses a point. Otherwise tolerable for what it is and it does have the benefit of a large car park.

The Sword Dancer is a large modern pub that is situated next to a CrapDonalds.
Once inside there is a large L shaped room with the bar facing,the left side was more of a dining area,the right side extended to the rear of the pub,there were american diner type tables near the bar and more comfortable bench seating on the right side,there was a pool table to the rear and two TVs showing Sky football updates.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of St Austell Tribute which was a decent drink,the other beer said american IPA but no sign of who brewed it,i asked but the bar staff did'nt know either.
The pub was fairly busy with both drinkers and diners.
This pub is family orientated and in my opinion a poor replacement for the closed Norfolk Arms which is opposite but now a day nursery.
