Old Boots left this review about Square Bar & Restaurant

An elegant cellar bar and restaurant in an Victorian square which is home to solicitor's and estate agent's offices. Mainly laid out for dining with tables and chairs, at one end is a bar counter and a small seating area for more casual eating and drinking. Furnished with low tables, a sofa, armchairs and drum shaped stools this is a pleasant area to enjoy a drink. Décor is modern in flavour with walls painted in pastel shades, an open and unused fireplace has a wooden framed big screen above it while the background music is modern sub-disco in tone. The door to the servery is an old safe door. Sophisticated bar snacks in the form of sandwiches, nachos, and croissants are available as well as full meals. Two handpulls with beers from Black Sheep, bitter and the seasonal commemorative beer Progress on this occasion, in good condition. Not a pub but a fair place for a more sophisticated drink.
