I understand you can't live in the past but sometimes something triggers a blast from the past and this wonderful village Inn does it for me.
Firstly the village itself puts you off stopping but luckily my children wanted to use the toilet and I'm glad they did.
Polished dark wood tables, red wine fitted seats, sparkling brass and copper, open fireplace, real ales, big brands, bar snacks, darts, pool room, Sky sports, Bt sports, large TV'S and free wifi.
Wonderful, brilliant and fantastic.
This is an old school village pub the way I remember when I was a child with my mum and dad.
You can chat and laugh, sing and dance and have that special something that many other pubs fail to deliver.
Can not praise this public house enough.
The five rating from the health department does not give enough credit.
It's not a restaurant or a night club or wine bar IT'S A BLOODY BRILLIANT FAMILY OWNED AND UNAPPRECIATED VILLAGE INN.
